Patacancha highschool annaversery

Today, Nov 13th Hatariy Mosoq Runa was invited to the 10th annaversery of a high school in high Andes village of Patacancha .  HMR dontated 2 bikes to the Senior class of 2012 to use in raffel to raise funds for their senior class tirp.

We got to see dance, hear poetry and songs and a short theactrical play 

 by the students on their schools annaversrey day.

Hatariy Mosoq runa  has accepted yet another Senior high school class as godsons to help them out on their class trip to Machu Picchu in exchange the class will do a few work days at our worm plant.

dec 4, For saturdays batizium we bought with the teacher for the 3 girls : white dresses, shoes, socks, underwear, teeshirts, warm coat n pants, and a sweater for the grandmother.  All this cost 115 $us or 300 kilos of organic fertilizer.

We are helping a local down hill bike rider go to the Red Bull world cup down hill in La Paz Bolivia this week

After note:  Josimar had a great experience traveling to Bolivia to this large international event.  We are very Happy to Report that Josimar used his head in opting not to run the red bull downhill you see here in the video.  75 riders inscribed > 35 finished  > 15 in the hospital

Sinchrroca school graduation class 2012

The Graduating class of 2012 of the Sinchirroca school in Maras, Urubamba, Cusco Peru.
Hatariy Mosoq Runa in partnership with the graduating class, Hatariy Mosoq Runa has used the proceeds of Sales of Worm Organic Fertilizer to donated a mountain bike for the class who are holding a Raffle selling tickets to raise funds for their class trip.

Each of the 15 class members sell a book of 100 tickets at $ 0.40 each (40cents) they will raise aprox $600 for their class trip.
In return for the sponsorship of Hatariy Mosoq Runa as one helps the other in turn.  The class will come and work at our worm Organic Fertilizer production plant recieving 1st hand experience with using worms in their own family farms.

Students of 2012 graduation class Cruzpata

Los alumndos de la Promción - 2012 de la Institución Educativa Santo Domingo Salvio de Cruzpata. Ditrito de Maras, Provincia de Urubamba   -with-  Hatariy Mosoq Runa members. 

 

The 2012 graduating class from the small village of Cruzpata have made an agreement to help out our worm project working in the worm humus plant in return HMR will help them with the costs of their Senior class trip excursion to Machu Picchu in December. Exchange of work/labor is a common tradition practiced for thousands of years in the Andes. In Quechua this exchange is called Aymi the word means today I help you tomorrow you help me.  The students also get hands on working knowledge turning the manure of their farm animals into free fantastic organic fertilizer using worms, that will save their family farm money as well as produce a better quality of food crops.
