The 2012 graduating class from the small village of Cruzpata have made
an agreement to help out our worm project working in the worm humus plant in return HMR will help them with the costs of their Senior class trip excursion to Machu Picchu in December. Exchange of work/labor is a common tradition practiced for thousands of years in the Andes. In Quechua this exchange is called Aymi the word means today I help you tomorrow you help me. The students also get hands on working knowledge turning the manure of their farm animals into free fantastic organic fertilizer using worms, that will save their family farm money as well as produce a better quality of food crops.
